    A Greeting for the Royal Family

    Great day, KINGS KIDS!
    May the grace and favor of THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY cover each of you this day with blessings great and small.

    Even When Our Thoughts Try to Distract Us

    As Children of THE KING, even though we try to begin our day by thanking GOD, there may be times when our minds begin filling with problems or issues.
    Even if those thoughts are meant to distract us from focusing on THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, who covers us with the grace and mercy of GOD, we can expect that they will not determine how our day turns out.

    Even When the Season Feels Difficult

    Now, as KINGS KIDS, even as we ask GOD to order our steps and sincerely desire to follow the path HE has for us, this time of year can feel difficult for many.
    Even when situations or issues try to disturb us, we can trust THE HOLY SPIRIT to provide inner peace—right in the middle of storms or battles—so we continue trusting GOD to work out even the most trying situations for our good.

    Even When Joy Feels Hard to Find

    As Children of THE KING, even when it is difficult to get into the right frame of mind to celebrate the gifts GOD provides during this season, we can trust that THE LORD JESUS CHRIST has us in HIS care.
    Even while grieving or struggling to feel joy, THE HOLY SPIRIT enables us to experience joy that comes from GOD—a joy that exists even in storms and gives us faith that the storm will clear.

    Even When the Battle Feels Too Heavy

    So as KINGS KIDS, even though GOD allows problems, battles, trials, and storms, we must understand that our faith in THE LORD JESUS CHRIST making a way—when we don’t see how—causes our trust in THE HOLY SPIRIT to grow.
    Even when we feel weak, knowing that GOD is with us in the battle makes all the difference.
    And even if we don’t know when the storm will end, we can trust that GOD does—and that victory is coming.

    Even When We Feel Unsure

    And as Children of THE KING, when we learn to lean on GOD—even when situations feel impossible—and enter HIS presence remembering how THE LORD JESUS CHRIST has brought us through before, we can trust THE HOLY SPIRIT to pour power into us.
    HE helps us push aside fear as we wait on GOD—even while the battle still rages—trusting HIM completely for victory.

    A Royal Reminder

    Remember, as KINGS KIDS, even when we don’t understand why things are unfolding the way they are, GOD is still in control.
    Even as we face difficult trials, we can trust THE LORD JESUS CHRIST to go before us and rely on THE HOLY SPIRIT to provide confidence.
    And GOD will receive glory as we trust HIM to work everything out in our favor.

    Prayer for the Royal Family

    We send out prayers for The Entire Royal Family of KINGS KIDS to be kept in the care of THE HOLY SPIRIT.
    Pray for each one to be lifted, strengthened, comforted, and filled with peace.

    Because…

    Readings:

    A Greeting for the Royal Family

    Great day, KINGS KIDS!
    May the grace and favor of THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY cover each of you this day with blessings great and small.

    Because We Begin with Thanksgiving

    As Children of THE KING, because we want to begin our day by thanking GOD, we can expect that a thought of a problem or issue may try to sneak in—even before we say a simple “thank You.”
    But because we know THE LORD JESUS CHRIST covers us with the grace and mercy of GOD throughout the day, even momentary distractions cannot stop us from focusing on GOD and remaining grateful for another new day.

    Because GOD Has a Plan During This Season

    Now, as KINGS KIDS, we may notice that the Christmas season brings more distractions that try to pull our focus away from GOD and from the blessing of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
    But because THE HOLY SPIRIT enables us not to lose hope or let difficult situations overwhelm us—and because we trust that GOD has a plan—we know we will get through everything we face.

    Because Faith Keeps Us Centered

    As Children of THE KING, because the enemy wants to pull our attention away from what GOD is doing in our lives, it can seem that we face more trials and battles during this season.
    But we must let our faith in THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, who keeps us in HIS care, be our anchor.
    By listening to THE HOLY SPIRIT, we are reminded that what GOD allows will work out according to HIS plan for our good.
    And because difficulties are not what we hope for, we grow stronger by trusting HIM more.

    Because CHRIST Is Our Reason for Joy

    So as KINGS KIDS, even during a season when celebration feels difficult because of trials, storms, or battles, we look to THE LORD JESUS CHRIST as our reason for joy.
    Even when facing loss or disappointment, THE HOLY SPIRIT pours in calm during times of trouble—helping us realize that because GOD is with us, even the hardest situations can still turn into victory.

    Because GOD Is Our Refuge

    As Children of THE KING, because we can enter the presence of GOD at any time and trust THE LORD JESUS CHRIST to keep us in HIS care, and because THE HOLY SPIRIT gives us power to push aside fear and worry, we do not need to be anxious—even when the path takes us through the fire.
    We know that victory will come.

    A Royal Reminder

    Remember, as KINGS KIDS, because GOD is in control, nothing should cause us to doubt that THE LORD JESUS CHRIST will make a way through whatever we are facing.
    And because we can depend on THE HOLY SPIRIT to give us peace, we trust GOD to work all things out—and we know we will come through alright.

    Prayer for the Royal Family

    We send out prayers for The Entire Royal Family of KINGS KIDS to be kept in the care of THE HOLY SPIRIT.
    Pray for each one to receive the strength, power, peace, and comfort needed today.
