Beginning the Day with Thankfulness

As Children of THE KING, we give thanks to GOD because HE is the source of our waking each day. Even when the enemy tries to shift our focus, we remain grounded in knowing that THE LORD JESUS CHRIST—covering us with the grace and mercy of GOD—is the true source of our strength. Because of this, we can expect our day to unfold well as we trust GOD.

GOD as Our Source of Direction

Now as KINGS KIDS, when we look to GOD as the source of direction for our day, we find that THE LORD JESUS CHRIST becomes our source of peace in difficult times. Even when we feel we lack strength, by trusting THE HOLY SPIRIT, we receive an endless source of inner strength that keeps us moving forward on the path GOD has prepared.

GOD as Our Source in Every Storm

And as Children of THE KING, no matter what trial… storm… battle… or situation we face, GOD remains our source of protection. Through faith in THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, we experience peace even as challenges surround us. And by listening to THE HOLY SPIRIT, we are guided safely, recognizing GOD as our source of comfort while we wait for the storm to pass.

GOD as Our Source of Security

So as KINGS KIDS, knowing that GOD is the source of all blessings, we do not allow fear or worry to take hold—even in difficult moments. Through THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, we find security. And through THE HOLY SPIRIT, we are given the power to overcome negative thoughts—strengthening our belief that GOD is the source of our victory.

And as Children of THE KING, with GOD as the source of our ability, we must prioritize time in HIS presence. Through THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, our faith grows stronger. And as we rely on THE HOLY SPIRIT, we receive the courage needed to overcome doubt—trusting that GOD will continue to be our source of strength, power, and victory.

As Children of THE KING, starting our day by thanking GOD is more than a routine—it is a way to guard our thoughts. It keeps our minds from being filled with problems or concerns too early. And the more we focus on THE LORD JESUS CHRIST covering us with the grace and mercy of GOD, the more we will find that even troubling thoughts lose their power to disturb our day.

More Strength Through Trust

Now as KINGS KIDS, we may notice that the more we commit to following GOD’S path, the more challenges may appear. Yet even when difficulties increase, the more our faith in THE LORD JESUS CHRIST will give us stability and the more we will depend on HIM to get us through. And by trusting THE HOLY SPIRIT, we will receive more strength—allowing us to stand firm without being overwhelmed. And the more we develop our trust in GOD, the more we can expect to see new victories unfold.

And as Children of THE KING following the path that GOD has for us will often bring more trials…battles…storms and difficult people. And those moments require us to develop more faith in THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. And the more we listen to THE HOLY SPIRIT, the more we will be guided around any obstacles allowing us to continue on the path that GOD is taking us.

So as KINGS KIDS, since there may be more problems or the situations seem to increase, we need to lean even more on GOD. And if worry or fear begins to rise, THE HOLY SPIRIT will give us more of the power we need to overcome it—reminding us that nothing can keep us from getting to more of the victories GOD has prepared for us.

And as Children of THE KING, during difficult seasons, we need to spend more time in the presence of GOD. And the more we focus on THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, the more our confidence will grow even in trying times. And the more we trust THE HOLY SPIRIT, the more strength we will have to that GOD will provide us with more victories than we could imagine.

Receiving and Giving Support

Now as KINGS KIDS, as we follow the path GOD has for us, we are often called to support others. And through the support we receive from THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, knowing HE has us in HIS care, we are strengthened to follow the leading of THE HOLY SPIRIT. This will allow us to be a source of support to those around us, just as GOD supports us along our journey.

By focusing on THE LORD JESUS CHRIST covering us with the grace and mercy of GOD, we are strengthened to trust that HE will carry us through whatever tests we face—and that everything will work out for our good.

Tests That Come with the Day

Now as KINGS KIDS, since even our early thoughts and dreams can test how we view path that GOD has for us in the day ahead we should realize that some of what comes to mind may challenge our faith, and trusting that THE LORD JESUS CHRIST has us in HIS care can become one of the greatest tests we pass. So, when we have what can seem to be a day filled with testing THE HOLY SPIRIT, will give us the strength to trust GOD through anything that tests our hearts and minds.

As Children of THE KING, when we begin our day by thanking GOD and asking HIM to direct our steps, we are declaring our dependence on HIM. This lets the enemy know that we are asking for a fresh covering. And as we focus on THE LORD JESUS CHRIST covering us with the grace and mercy of GOD, we no longer have to ask whether the day will work out—since we can trust that it will.

Asking with Trust, Not Doubt

Now as KINGS KIDS, there are times when we may ask GOD why we must face certain trials or situations. But often when we ask, instead of answers, we are led to trust THE LORD JESUS CHRIST more deeply. And when we ask THE HOLY SPIRIT for strength to remain faithful, we can find that victory comes—not because we demanded it, but because we trusted GOD through the process.

Asking for Direction and Wisdom

And as Children of THE KING, when we ask GOD to order our steps, we are also asking for wisdom and guidance. And when we ask, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, will give us the ability to walk without fear. And as we continually ask THE HOLY SPIRIT to guide us, we may be led along paths that can be challenging GOD will fill them with blessings we could not have imagined or asked for.

So as KINGS KIDS, when we ask GOD for something and do not receive an immediate answer, we must ask for peace and patience. Then, knowing that THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, will be with us along the road we are traveling we won’t have to ask for the strength we need to be kept from losing hope.  And THE HOLY SPIRIT will remind us that when we ask anything with trust that what we are asking is according to GOD’S will, the answer will come at the right time and in the right way for our wellbeing.

And as Children of THE KING, when we ask GOD to strengthen us during trials… storms… and battles, we should also ask for joy and faith. Knowing that through THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, we will be given blessings beyond what we would even think to ask for. And as we ask THE HOLY SPIRIT to fill us with confidence, we will begin to give GOD glory in advance—knowing that the victory we asked for is on the way.
